Beautiful
picturesque ranch nestled in the Idaho mountains, at the end of the
road near the small, old fashioned community of Ola, Idaho. Within 40 miles
of Emmett and 70 miles of Boise.
The ranch has been
in our family for the past 28 years. It's a great place to raise families
away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We started out raising several
hundred head of hogs, some dairy cows and goats, and a beef herd. As our
family grew and interests changed, we concentrated more on raising cattle
and horses. The ranch is currently set up for breeding and training
horses.
The main house is
a custom designed, hand crafted, 4300 sq feet 6 bedroom, 3 bath. The second
house is a 2002, 4 bedroom 2 bath, manufactured home. The third house is a
newer, 2 bedroom, 1 bath home.

Deer grazing on the ranch.
The ranch has an
abundance of wildlife which includes, deer, elk, antelope, moose, turkeys,
grouse, pheasant, partridge, chuckers, doves, geese, and ducks. The geese
and ducks often spend the night on the front pond in the spring and fall.
Sage Hen reservoir and Squaw Creek provide excellent fishing.
The Boise National
Forest is within 20 minutes from the ranch, by horseback or 4-wheeler on
dirt roads, and provides miles of horse and 4-wheeler trails in the summer
and groomed snowmobile trails in the winter. There is an annual
Horse Endurance race, in the mountains above Ola, as well as a Cycle
Endurance race. 2 Ski resorts are within 1 1/2 hours of the
ranch.
