The operation of this ranch has gone from a cattle and
hog ranch, to a cattle and horse ranch in the last 5 years, so many of the
old facilities have been torn down, or remodeled to make way for several new
barns, corrals, pastures, and arenas.

A new 7 stall horse barn, with nice tack room, wash
racks, with hot water, and hay storage, was built in 2004. One of the stalls
is a 35 foot maternity stall with cameras.
A new stud barn, with 2 attached pastures is under
construction. Also under construction is an indoor exercise arena, and a
loafing shed in the weanlings pasture.
Other buildings include, a large hay shed, a shop,
chicken house, 2 large metal granaries and a small one. Pastures include, 3,
1 acre irrigated pastures, and 1, 7 acre pasture. There are approx. 50
acres that we used to have in Alfalfa and meadow hay, and are now using for
horse and cattle pasture.

There are several dry lot corrals, a 100x140 foot outdoor
arena, and a round training coral.
The remaining land is in dryland grazing, with patches of
grain ground interspersed.
The irrigation is done with a combination of ditch,
sprinkler, and gated pipe.
With the purchase of some winter hay, we have run 20 head
of cattle, and 30 horses. There is accessible water to all pastures, plus 2
small ponds.
For training horses in endurance racing, or trail riding,
or just muscling them up for other sports, the Boise National Forest is easy
riding distance from the ranch on dirt roads. There are miles of roads, to
ride on, with beautiful views around each bend. Ride the back roads to Sage
Hen Reservoir, fish awhile, and ride back home with your catch.
